Lindsey Bastani

Executive Vice President, Technology and General manager, Portland

As executive vice president and general manager, Lindsey Bastani is responsible for overseeing the development of talent, culture, new business and operations of WE’s Portland office. Lindsey also serves as a strategic communications counselor for clients like Rover and Microsoft through her role as senior vice president in the agency’s consumer sector.

Through nearly two decades in communications, Lindsey has experience helping global brands connect authentically with their audiences through integrated storytelling campaigns, media relations, and corporate and executive communications. In her 12 years at WE, she has worked across almost every facet of Microsoft’s B2C efforts: from overseeing award-winning communications strategies for product launches that drove record preorders and software downloads to developing the regional and national PR strategy for Microsoft’s first-ever retail store launch. Throughout her career, Lindsey has also helped some of the most senior-ranking women leaders, like those at Volvo and Microsoft, build their executive communications platforms through an improved social media presence to earn cross-industry accolades that propelled their careers and businesses forward. Before joining WE, Lindsey worked with consumer-packaged goods brands like Crest, Scope and Glide and managed brand partnerships with celebrities, athletes, and health and lifestyle experts to fuel integrated campaigns.

Outside the office, you can find Lindsey traveling whenever she can, from visiting family in her hometown of St. Louis to trying out unidentifiable but delicious foods on a street corner in Southeast Asia. At home in Portland, Lindsey spends time with her husband chasing two energetic littles (preferably down a local hiking path), trying out new recipes, and on a good day even manages to find time for that happy place of reading a good book (or two).
