Describe the past year, and make predictions for 2019.

A great time to be alive! Never a dull day in politics or PR. Predictions for 2019 include more scrutiny on all things fake, more emphasis on all things personal and a year when AI will really make its mark in our daily lives.

What has been your favourite campaign of the past year?

Iceland’s Christmas advertising. Getting 'banned' by Clearcast (deliberately or otherwise) and creating an ad that cut through the general Christmas noise of the other retailers with something disruptive and fuelled by purpose created a meaningful conversation about the role of brands and retailers.

Who handled PR most adeptly in the past year?

KFC.

…And who most poorly?

Facebook.
