Daniel Blank is the head of integrated marketing, EMEA in Germany. In his multifaceted role, Blank shapes and develops WE’s digital offering across all sectors (Tech, Consumer and Health).

Blank started out as a freelancer for and later as editor at Europe’s largest youth magazine, BRAVO, before jumping into the world of communications. He kickstarted his career in communications at a boutique PR agency before landing at Edelman. There, Blank went from working in B2C and B2B tech PR to eventually transitioning into a digital role as the digital director for Edelman Germany. Edelman was also the agency where Blank won a European SABRE Award and a PRWeek Award in 2010 for developing and leading a campaign for the Xbox 360 game “Lips.” His last stop before joining WE was at LEWIS, where he was the head of digital marketing for Germany. Blank had the opportunity to build the digital unit at LEWIS from the ground up, continuously growing the team’s size and revenue for more than three years. While at the agency, he also built and led the global social media launch of a revolutionary dual-screen smartphone. At WE, Blank works closely with clients such as Bird, the Liechtenstein-based crypto exchange Bittrex Global, the world’s largest internet exchange DE-CIX, as well as global WE clients iRobot and RSA.

When he’s not spearheading new technology or digital campaigns at WE, Daniel can be found spending time with his wife, two sons and daughter. His passion is renovating his 150-year-old half-timbered house, which he says is a great way to unwind. He also loves playing the guitar, collecting and building LEGO Star Wars with his oldest son, and getting sucked into a new TV series with his wife
