Under his purview as Hopscotch’s Managing Director, Marcus Hernon is responsible for building the agency’s growth and reputation, cultivating its social impact expertise and enhancing its ability to drive change through education. In tandem with his oversight of the business, he also leads relationships with some of the agency’s biggest clients, including Sport England, The Gatsby Foundation, Nuffield Health and Pfizer.

With more than 20 years’ integrated marketing experience, Marcus is passionate about the role of communications and creativity as a force for good. Over the course of his career, he has developed and executed strategies for high-profile behavior-change campaigns in the private and public sectors. Before joining Hopscotch, he was a partner at the creative agency 23red. Before 23red, he spent 12 years at Iris Worldwide working on award-winning integrated campaigns for Jack Daniel’s, VW, Heineken, Department of Health and PUMA.

Marcus has served on the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) council and represented the UK advertising industry on a trade delegation to Cannes Lions.

Away from work, he’s a big football fan and manages a local grassroots team as a UK Football Association qualified coach.?A keen runner, he has also completed several marathons and ultras.
