Martin Xu works at WE RedBridge Beijing as a Director providing public relations consulting and integration communication services in the China Technology practice group. He is currently leading team to provide integrated communications and marketing work for established firms, like HP, SAP, AMD, F5 and Elsevier; global internet unicorns, like Dynatrace and UiPath; local internet companies, such as NetEase. With over 16 years of experience in technology communications, Martin has a wealth of knowledge, insights experience.
Prior to joining WE RedBridge, Martin was with Fleishman-Hillard as Head of HP China PC PR team. He built the 15-members team within 3 months, and then led team to provide integrated communication and won all the customers. And before that he worked for Hill & Knowlton for three years and led an eight-member team to service HP China PSG marketing SVSI and Commercial Products department. His experience covered campaigns including product communications and go-to-marketing. In addition to working Agency side, Martin spent two years as PR manager at Sage China Software LTD. and was responsible for driving several campaigns to support business growth and reputation. Martin also understands the needs/wants and desires of media. For five years he worked at eweek as a reporter, editor rising to chief editor.
Martin likes football and basketball. His team is New York Knicks since he first saw NBA game in 1994. He’s also a Nerazurri, the crazy fans of Inter. He’s married, with twins' sons, and spends his spare time traveling in China and worldwide.
