As managing director and head of strategy at WE Red Bridge, Nicky Wang specializes in advising challenger brands on positioning, market entry and expansion plans in Mainland China. Wang leads her teams to produce high-impact campaigns and sustainable engagement programs that deliver maximum return for clients.
Prior to WE Red Bridge, Wang developed her pan-regional communications skills at international agencies including Grayling and Bates 141, advising clients such as Apple, Unilever, Diageo and Gemalto. Joining WE Red Bridge as a managing partner in 2009, Wang has driven the successful launch of many leading international brands in Mainland China, including The Coca-Cola Company, Aesop, Fenty Beauty, Lululemon, FC Barcelona Football Club and many more. Known for building strong and long-lasting client partnerships, under Wang's leadership WE Red Bridge has gone on to win awards from Cannes Lions, SABRE Awards Asia Pacific, PRWeek Awards Asia and more. Wang was also awarded Young Business Leader of the Year in Campaign Asia's Women Leading Change Awards in 2019.
An advocate of sleep and mindfulness, Nicky unwinds after work through practicing vinyasa yoga. A self-confessed wine snob, Nicky and her husband enjoy discovering new wines from wine regions around the world from Napa to Tuscany, Douro and Bordeaux. Their passion also extends to exploring the independent single malts of the world
