As General Manager of WE Red Bridge Beijing, Tony has been instrumental in leading and building a team of dedicated, experienced communication professionals with insights and expertise across multiple sectors. With his deep understanding and critical analysis of marketing communications, Tony helps manage client relationships with one-on-one service while delivering impressive campaigns that move people to positive action. He’s responsible for driving business in Beijing as well as fostering the growth of integrated marketing communication (IMC) throughout China. Tony strives to motivate his team to perform at their best, empowering efforts in lifelong learning while constantly optimizing processes and methods to deliver maximum efficiency for clients.
Prior to WE, Tony was at Weber Shandwick, where he led the IMC team. Determined and driven, yet thoughtful and nurturing, Tony was a pioneer in China in championing IMC, bravely overcoming early challenges to help BYD Daimler achieve fivefold growth in two years. Under his leadership, the IMC team provided services in PR, experiential marketing, advertising, media buying, word-of-mouth, influencer engagement, and retail marketing. Thanks to Tony’s direction, the team won a Gold APAC Stevie Award, a Gold IBA Stevie Award, and two IPRA Golden World Awards. Tony also worked on Procter & Gamble’s beauty brands in China, managing PR, digital, influencers, and consumer marketing efforts, and he earned the distinguished “Most Outstanding Greater China External Relations Executive of the Year” award from Procter & Gamble in 2011. Tony began his PR career with one of the largest PR agencies in Asia, BlueFocus, where he helped manage the Lenovo account, including their 2008 Summer Olympics marketing communications efforts.
Tony is passionate about all things related to technology and innovation. He thrives on challenges and is fascinated with the constant movement of the world we share. When he’s not pondering “What’s next?”, Tony is an avid hiker, having trekked the U.S. Grand Canyon; Kangrinboqe in Tibet, China; and Grindelwald, Switzerland, to name just a few of his explorations and adventures.
