ARE PURPOSEFUL PHARMA BRANDS INCREASING CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT?
PRWEEK UK ROUNDTABLE
ARE PURPOSE DRIVEN HEALTH AND PHARMA BRANDS INCREASING THEIR ENGAGEMENT WITH CONSUMERS?
When: 11am BST, Friday April 30, 2021
Where: Invite-only, virtual event
2020 saw upheaval across businesses in all sectors, globally. For many, COVID-19 acted as a forcing function, with brands challenged to re-examine their place in the world, how they communicate with their customers, and how they engage their stakeholders. One group of brands which saw particular scrutiny in 2020, amidst a global pandemic, are those operating in the consumer health and pharmaceutical space. With rapid testing, clinical trials and vaccine efficacy now entering the lexicon of the average consumer, expectations of brands are higher. Some brands have seen themselves heralded as saviors, while other brands have faced the challenges of resource reallocation with clinical trials, HCP engagement and sales models hampered by social distancing.
With health and pharmaceutical brands encountering a seismic shift in 2020, they find themselves well-positioned to reconsider their purpose in 2021, with an opportunity to improve their engagement with patients, customers, clients and the public.
