In 2018, brands decided to take a stand on social issues. That movement is set to continue over the next year, but brands will be more mindful of their choices, say experts.

Consumers certainly want brands to voice an opinion. In September, WE Communications’ 2018 Brands in Motion study found that 74% of consumers around the globe expect brands to take a stand on important issues, up 4% from the 2017 study. 

He predicts the next trend will be broader and more diverse deployment of voice interactions and experiences for consumers.
