SEATTLE — April 18, 2017 — WE Communications today announced it has appointed Kate Richmond as Chief Talent Officer. In this newly created executive board position, Richmond will oversee the agency’s global human resource function, applying her organizational development expertise to ensure the company continues to deliver a compelling employee experience that retains and attracts the best and brightest talent.

Reporting directly to CEO and founder Melissa Waggener Zorkin, Richmond will also lead cultural and change initiatives to help the agency and its employees evolve to support the company’s growth and expansion — and work with closely with Zorkin to continue to transform what it means to be a People + Purpose first company.

“Nothing is more important to our success than our people. Simply put, having the best people means we can give the best to our clients,” Zorkin said. “Our employees are our crown jewels, and we’ve worked really hard to build a strong, engaging and fun culture driven by what is most relevant to our people. This move signals that we will never lose sight of what we’ve always done — putting people + purpose at the center of our business decisions.”
