WE Adds New VP to San Francisco Office

May 22, 2017

SEATTLE — May 23, 2017 —WE Communications announced today that Trevor Jonas has joined the agency as vice president, Digital Strategy, in San Francisco. In this newly created role, Jonas will be responsible for creating strategic and insight-based digital and social campaigns for clients.

In today’s fractured media ecosystem, there is no longer a one-size-fits-all approach to connecting with customers. Serving clients like Microsoft, VSP and Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, the agency’s Integrated Services team crafts and executes cutting-edge communications for these industry leaders across paid, earned and owned channels.

“Technology has forever changed the way customers interact with brands. The customer expectation now is that brands are on-demand and accessible from anywhere and everywhere,” said Kass Sells, president of North America for WE Communications. “Trevor understands this fundamental shift in communications and brings both the skills and the passion to immediately deliver for our clients.”

The addition of Jonas fuels additional momentum for WE’s growing San Francisco office. He joins other recent hires including Steve Kerns as general manager and Pia Chatterjee as vice president. Well-connected throughout San Francisco and the Valley, this office has deep experience in consumer, technology and health. Staff there play a key role in serving some of the agency’s largest multi-office accounts.

Jonas joins WE most recently from Access Emanate where he was the vice president, Digital Strategy, building the social media practice. Over his 17-year career, he has worked for clients including PayPal, Capital One and NIVEA. Jonas will report to Matt Haynes, senior vice president, Integrated Services.

“My focus every day is on bringing tenacity, commitment and thoughtfulness to my clients so they can break through the noise and connect with customers,” said Jonas. “I came to WE because I found the same guiding principles and an opportunity to make a real difference for clients.”
